Video Transcript:

What are the key highlights for businesses from May?

“Welcome to June’s newsletter. I think June is testing our flood alleviation projects in New Road Worcester and Upton-upon-Severn!

“It’s been another busy month, looking back it was the end of the first cohort of BetaDen and we are currently interviewing for the second cohort which is starting in September. Also, the Worcestershire Brand event – this is your opportunity to continue to sign up to be a brand champion on the OneWorcestershire website. Please sign up, it’s free, and it gives you a load of materials that you can use to help promote the county as a great place to live and work.”

What events do businesses have to look forward to this month?

“Just a couple of events for your diary, County Enterprises are having an open day on the 20th June. The WINN Great Things is on the 18th June at the Warriors (Sixways Stadium) and Science in the Park, in Malvern is on the 29th June. Get along to those events.”

What is the latest on Worcestershire’s international business delegations?

“Last week we also had a delegation from Maryland in the USA. Businesses are coming into Worcestershire recognising this is a great place to do business. We also are hosting an Irish delegation later this month.”
