Hello and welcome to the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership newsletter for October 2026.
Loads been going on this month already. We’ve seen the Chamber Expo. Great to see lots of businesses coming together there, and the Growth Hub and the grants team coming together to support that and have loads of conversations with businesses. We’ve also done Life Beyond School and the Apprenticeship Roadshow. So lots of around careers in Worcestershire and where you can find out more information and have a look at those websites and the skills website. And from there you can find any advice, information or guidance that you might need, either as a young person or as a parent, carer or guardian, or just more information about what’s out there in Worcestershire as a great career and opportunities to learn and train.
There’s also been a plenty going on in the WorkWell initiative where we work with health, where employers and employees come together to actually work through a number of insight workshops. Those have been going on. Again, you can catch up on those on the Work Well website and I’d encourage you to engage with those. If you’re interested about how you bring together workplace wellbeing, either from an employer or employee point of view.
And then finally, Inclusive Worcestershire Leaders has come together. So our network that we’re building around how employers operate within inclusive work practices, a really best practice example where we bring those employers together. And you can also be, as an employer, identified as a Inclusive Worcestershire Leader. So plenty going on. When you look forward into November. It’s our usual round of the apprenticeship awards.
We’ve also encouraging you in this newsletter to complete a DWP questionnaire. Have a look in the newsletter and click that and give us some feedback. And it’s also Global Entrepreneur Week in November. So have a look at our business support offer.
