Visit Worcestershire needs you to ‘Discover More’ about the county you call home

This summer, Visit Worcestershire – in conjunction with DRPG – is running a summer campaign to entice day trippers, staycation’ers and local residents to ‘Discover More’ about the county that we get to call home.

Worcestershire may be near the middle of the country, but the Visit Worcestershire team are determined to prove that the county is certainly not middle of the road.

Worcestershire has something for all the family, whether it’s a love of the great outdoors, shopping in our array of independents and boutiques, or spotting animals on safari, Worcestershire has something for everyone.

The ‘Discover More’ campaign launched this week and will run until the October half-term, with our key messages going out on various platforms, including:

  • Out of County advertising boards
  • Free Radio
  • Paid for social media adverts as well as organic content
  • MumsNet.com and Daysoutwiththekids.com

Councillor Marc Bayliss, Cabinet Member for Economy and Skills said: “Our county has been ranked one of the happiest places in Britain, one of the safest and among the top 20 places to make your home for a better quality of life in recent years. This is in no small part to our bustling towns and a heritage city, lush countryside, history, culture, a passion for sport, value for money and less stress, plenty to discover for everyone. I’m looking forward to seeing how this campaign opens up our residents eyes to the wonderful place we live in, you can always discover more about what is on your doorstep.”
