Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) will welcome a record attendance to the fully-booked #WLEP15 Annual Conference with registrations now closed three weeks before the event.
Over 430 delegates have registered for this year’s conference which will take place at 8am on Friday 13 November 2015 at the Chateau Impney, Droitwich, and will be hosted by BBC Midlands Today’s main presenter, Mary Rhodes.
This year’s conference has exceeded the target of 400 registrations and a waiting list is now in operation. This builds on the success of last year’s conference which saw 350 delegates in attendance.
Delegates who have secured their place, which includes businesses of all sectors and sizes as well as partner organisations, will hear from high calibre speakers and experts who will offer their contributions through interactive facilitated discussions, presentations and speeches. Keynote speeches will be delivered by Secretary of State for Business, Innovation & Skills, Rt. Hon Sajid Javid MP and Irene Graham of the Scale-Up Institute and Executive Director of Business Finance at the British Bankers Association.
Attendees at the #WLEP15 Annual Conference will hear first-hand about recent progress and priorities for the future for Worcestershire’s long-term prosperity with Worcestershire found to be the third fastest growing economy in recent years only following London and Oxfordshire. Details will be provided regarding local business support to enable everyone to be a part of future economic growth.
Many businesses have also taken the opportunity to pre-book onto a networking lunch, sponsored by Hewett Recruitment, and post-event afternoon seminars by Hewett Recruitment and the Business Growth Service.
