The Wonderful Worcestershire Women Awards 2016

Friday 29 April was the awards day for the Wonderful Worcestershire Women at the Worcestershire Cricket Club organised by local business ladies, Sarah Mayo-Evans and Julia Williams.

The finalists went through a nomination process, a public vote and finally, a vigorous judging process. The 9 awards were handed out for the top three places in each category by the sponsors. The afternoon was enjoyed by over 300 attendees with afternoon tea and cakes. The event was then continued at Bolero for the VIP after-party.

Sarah and Julia wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone involved. Thank you to everyone who came, all the nominees, the Worcestershire County Cricket Club, the speaker, Deb Leary and Cleo Lacey, the host for the afternoon, Elliot Webb, and a huge thank you to all the sponsors. They also mention that they have received fantastic feedback and couldn’t have done it without them.
