Worcestershire’s businesses who are interested in the Broadband Connection Voucher Scheme are being encouraged to act quickly as vouchers are available on a first come, first served basis until 31 March, 2016.
The Connection Voucher Scheme, which has recently been launched in Worcestershire, enables eligible businesses to claim grants of up to £3,000 towards the cost of upgrading to Superfast Broadband.
Over 190 of Worcestershire’s businesses have already been successful in securing financial support for better broadband through the scheme and any further interested parties should act quickly before the funds are allocated.
The scheme has £40m of funding attached to it and is managed by Central Government to help businesses who need support in connecting to new technologies while also helping those where the fibre network has not yet reached.
The Broadband Connection Voucher Scheme covers fibre wireless and satellite connections and is available to any eligible business, charity, voluntary organisation, SMEs, Sole-traders and businesses run from home.
