Worcestershire businesses looking to maximise their opportunities attended the “Inspiring Growth – Journey to Success Roundtable” at the Guildhall, Worcester, on 25 June 2019.
The Roundtable event, part Worcestershire Business Central’s Inspiring Growth campaign, offered businesses the opportunity to consider the key issues of the various stages of growth, discover funding available in the area, and hear from key speakers who delivered experiential knowledge on the topics of strategy, execution, people, and cash.
The key speakers included: Gillian Davies of Conteur talking about the secret of good PR and how communications planning is key to delivering ongoing results; Alan C Clark from Management Coach on the importance of creating quality systems as a platform to growth; and Gillian Hutchinson of Aadvark Marketing discussing the important factors influencing recommendations and how to communicate this to your market.
The event concluded with a roundtable discussion giving businesses the chance to discuss the day’s topics with peers, debate, create actions to implement into their company, and feedback their discussions to the room.
Businesses who attended were also given the opportunity to become part of a FREE exclusive directory, highlighting the businesses in the area with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ambition to grow. The Inspiring Growth directory will also serve as a tool for businesses to share skills peer-to-peer.
Kevin Aisbitt, Growth Hub Manager of Worcestershire Business Central, said: “We are pleased to see so many businesses get involved and help support the momentum of our “Inspiring Growth” campaign. The events are key to our offer of FREE business support in the local area, whilst identifying the businesses that will drive economic growth in Worcestershire.”
