Worcestershire Growth Hub held its first Finance Partners Network meeting on Thursday 15th October.
The Finance Partners Network (FPN) is a collaboration of local finance providers coming together to advise and support businesses around access to finance.
During this first event, professionals from across the banking and finance sector held small group sessions with local businesses to help them better understand their funding options to enable them to scale and grow.
This was then followed by a roundtable discussion where those finance professionals shared trends and challenges within the sector with each other. The roundtable also enabled the partners to explore how they could continue to collaborate to better improve access to finance for businesses in Worcestershire.
Feedback from this event has been extremely positive. One business was asked whether they would recommend getting involved to other businesses and replied: “Absolutely. This meeting was incredibly helpful and beneficial”.
