The deadline for entering the Worcestershire Apprenticeship Awards 2018 is fast approaching and there are a variety of categories available this year for schools, apprentices, businesses and training providers to submit their entries.
This year will be the fifth edition of the awards, which are an initiative created by Worcestershire LEP and Worcestershire County Council.. The awards are taking place on Thursday 15 November 2018 at West Midland Safari Park, and they really are a special occasion that I would urge everyone connected with apprenticeships to attend.
Last year’s awards were a huge success with a record 360 people in attendance and the comedian host Mark Watson providing a lively night that celebrated the achievements of all those involved in local apprenticeships.
The categories available for this year’s awards include apprentice awards, celebrating levels such as intermediate, advanced and higher apprentice of the year, while employer awards will recognise newcomer, small, medium, large and Worcestershire Apprenticeship employer of the year. The awards will also recognise the Apprenticeship Ambassador, Training Provider and School of the year, so there’s a category for all to enter.
If you would like to submit your entry before the 6 July deadline, or find out more information about apprenticeships in Worcestershire, please do visit the Worcestershire Apprenticeships website www.worcsapprenticeships.org.uk
