I am delighted to announce that BetaDen, Worcestershire’s new tech accelerator, is now actively recruiting start-up businesses and entrepreneurs looking for a commercially-led tech accelerator.
With its ideal location on the Malvern Hills Science Park, we have created the BetaDen to support business growth by providing flexible work space, lab facilities and meeting rooms all located within a network of technology and cyber businesses.
We will initially be accepting 8 successful applicants for the BetaDen, who will have access to handpicked mentors, tech workshops, investment coaching, grant funding and commercial meetings.
BetaDen is a unique workspace because of its environment for entrepreneurs and technology businesses looking to develop new concepts and products, alongside the Worcestershire LEP team and Worcestershire’s 5G testbed project team.
As you may have recently seen, the global market leader Auraya Systems is one example of a business that has already invested in locating its European headquarters to Malvern as a result of the opportunities of 5G. I look forward to welcoming many more investors to the BetaDen over the coming months also.
The BetaDen forms a very large part of our wider vision for the county, helping to promote an environment of entrepreneurship within the local manufacturing and cyber security sectors, as well as encouraging new and innovative start-up and scale-up businesses. As we continue to work towards promoting the county’s profile as a business location on a national and international scale, this really is an ideal opportunity to join an exciting new development.
I would urge anyone who is interested in joining the BetaDen to register before the deadline of Friday 17 August. If you would like to find out more about BetaDen and how you can register, visit the BetaDen website here: www.beta-den.com
