As we get close to the end of the year, it is again a very important and challenging time for the local economy and local business across the county.
Last week saw England enter a second lockdown after the Government’s announcement the previous weekend in line with rising infection and deaths linked with COVID-19.
Similar to the first lockdown, I would like to take this chance to highlight the support available for businesses during this time. Ensuring businesses can access this support through Worcestershire Business Central is vital to receiving the information and guidance they need.
Last week we launched a new podcast episode where we discussed the new and existing support on offer for businesses and where they need to go to get it. The team covered a variety of aspects including the recent extension to furlough, the kickstart scheme and where to go for information on ability to trade during lockdown.
Worcestershire Business Central is the first port of call for local businesses to provide information, advice and guidance including access to grant support. The team have been working flat-out since March on helping guide and inform businesses on the latest guidance on Government funds, county-based grants, and employment and redundancy support.
I would encourage anyone who has got a question or problem to explore the variety of support on offer and get in touch with Worcestershire Business Central.
You can contact the team on the following details, firstname.lastname@example.org or 01905 677888.
