As we approach March and off the back of a successful National Apprenticeship Week, I would like to just remind readers of the variety of support available for businesses at this time.

The LEP have been working closely with the county’s Growth Hub, Worcestershire Business Central, to help promote and signpost businesses to where they can access grants, loans and support programmes.

One of the support programmes that I would encourage businesses to sign up to is the Specialist Business Advisers programme. Worcestershire Business Central have appointed 5 expert advisers to provide businesses will FREE 1:1 support on relevant business topics and challenges.

The topics covered by these advisers are Marketing, Adoption of Technology, Access to Finance, Sustainability and General business support.

As I mentioned, this support is FREE for businesses to use and there is also no eligibility criteria for businesses to meet to access the programme. Feedback from the 1:1 sessions and virtual events held by the advisers has been overwhelmingly positive with businesses of all sizes finding it of real value.

We want to help as many Worcestershire businesses as possible and the Specialist Business Advisers is only available until the 31st March. I would urge businesses not too miss out on this support and to enquire with the team to see how this programme could help your organisation to build back better.

If you’d like to find out more about the programme, visit the dedicated Business Advisers webpage on the Worcestershire Business Central website.
