I am delighted to say that registrations are now open for Worcestershire LEP’s 2017 Annual Conference.
We are expecting over 450 business delegates to attend our half-day conference, from 8:30am to 1:30pm on Friday 1 December 2017 at the Chateau Impney, Droitwich.
From skills growth to digital connectivity, we have had a lot of national success stories to celebrate in the past 12 months and our conference is the perfect opportunity for businesses and partners of all sectors and sizes to hear the latest priorities for the future, ensuring Worcestershire’s long-term prosperity for all of its community. Attendees will have access to expert organisations with guidance on Worcestershire’s latest connected, creative and dynamic projects and there will be plenty of opportunities for networking throughout the event.
BBC Midlands Today’s main presenter, Mary Rhodes, will be hosting the conference and will be joined by a number of high profile business representatives including Paul Pattinson – Director of Service Management at O2, Marcus Burton – Non-Executive Director at Yamazaki Mazak, Keith Robson – Chief Operating Officer at University of Surrey and all three previous winners of the Worcestershire Apprenticeship Awards.
I would also encourage businesses to attend the ‘Healthy Business Breakfast’ sponsored by Bishop Fleming, which is taking place from 7:30-8:30am on the morning of the Conference. High profile business figures including Richard Barnes – Inventor of the Body Volume Index, Peter Hunt – Product and Project Manager of Boardman Bikes and Liam McGreevy – General Manager of Hydro Industry Direct, will discuss some of the county’s latest innovations in health.
I would like to thank the local companies who have already sponsored the event, including Hewett Recruitment, Bishop Fleming, RCA Regeneration, Thursfields Solicitors and The Training Academy. There are still opportunities for other businesses to sponsor and exhibit at the event and more information on these opportunities are available on the conference website.
