I would like to start this column by wishing you all a Happy New Year.
As we enter this New Year, we saw the announcement at the start of this week that England will go into a third lockdown until Mid-February.
In light of this, I would to reiterate an important message of support for the county’s businesses. During this challenging time there are a variety of support programmes and packages available to help your business and I would encourage business people and entrepreneurs to access this support at this time.
We at the Worcestershire LEP work closely with partners such as, Worcestershire Business Central, the county council and local district councils to make sure that businesses are aware and can make the best decisions for their businesses.
There is advice, information and funding on offer to businesses across many industries and if you are interested to find out more, I would encourage you to speak with the Worcestershire Business Central team.
The Worcestershire Business Central team are able to signpost and simplify the process for your organisation to access the packages available and starting later this month we have a number of specialist advisors that can provide excellent advice to any business of any size or stage in its development. These advisors can help organisations across the county and this support does not come at a cost to the organisations.
Again, I would strongly encourage any businesses in the county to engage with the Worcestershire Business Central team at the earliest opportunity to access some of this support, including the new business advisors.
Contact the team today by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or phoning 01905 677 888.
