There is still time for businesses and young people from across the county to connect with the future workforce, at the Worcestershire Skills Show.
The Worcestershire Skills Show is open for school pupils, sixth formers and parents/carers who are interested in learning first-hand what skills are desired for by employers. The event consistently draws in a large number of employers that use activity-based stands to get young people thinking about their skills and career options.
The Worcestershire Skills Show is taking place at the Regent Centre, Chateau Impney, Droitwich Spa on Wednesday 7 March, 2018. The show is being delivered by the Careers and Enterprise Company in partnership with the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership and Worcestershire County Council.
I think that this show really is an excellent opportunity for local businesses to highlight to younger generations the exciting opportunities that are available locally now and in the future. With approximately 2000 pupils expected to attend to this year’s event, there will be plenty of young people to inspire!
The event has developed a great reputation over the years for being able to engage and connect with pupils through exciting activity-based stands that really bring the world of work to life. Event organisers are still looking for local businesses to get involved through an activity based stand at the event for free.
The Worcestershire Skills Show is the biggest skills-based event in the county and I would therefore recommend all businesses to get involved. For any young people and parents/carers wishing to attend this year’s Worcestershire Skills Show 2018 there will be a drop in session between 3-7pm.
