As we come to the end of a big week for the country with the unlocking of COVID-19 restrictions, I’d like to reiterate the deadline for the upcoming Worcestershire Apprenticeships Awards.
After a hiatus last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I am pleased that the Worcestershire Apprenticeships Awards are returning in November to celebrate all those involved in making apprenticeships a success in the county.
The deadline to enter the awards is the 30 July.
I would like to encourage readers to enter or nominate for the awards. If you know someone who is an apprentice, work with an apprentice or employ apprentices in your business then it is a great opportunity to celebrate the impact and efforts of the apprentice and the business.
I have had the pleasure of attending the previous awards and have seen first-hand the value that apprenticeships bring for both people and businesses. The awards are one of my favourite events of the year and given the year we have all experienced, I think it is great that we can praise how apprenticeships can change lives.
This year’s awards are running in a slightly different format to previous awards, it will be going ahead online this year as a three-day celebration with the awards and a spotlight on the wider celebration around apprenticeships.
Don’t miss this chance to celebrate the value of apprenticeships, get your nominations or entries in by Friday 30 July. Follow the link here to complete the online nomination process: www.worcsapprenticeships.org.uk/news/worcestershire-apprenticeships-awards-2021/
