Worcestershire LEP’s Annual Report 2013-2014 now available

This year’s Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership’s (LEP) Annual Report 2013-14 is now available and businesses across the County are being urged to take a look.

This year’s report reviews another successful year of significant progress across Worcestershire and is introduced by a letter from the MP for Tunbridge Wells and Minister for Universities, Science and Cities the Rt. Hon Greg Clark MP. A foreword is also provided by the Executive Chair of the LEP, Peter Pawsey, and an introduction from the Executive Director, Gary Woodman.

The report includes many success stories from 2013-14 with regards to infrastructure investment, employment and skills, access to finance for businesses as well as work to raise the profile of the County, World Class Worcestershire, regionally and nationally to encourage inward investment. The report also celebrates a number of other achievements such as the Tour of Britain and its hugely positive impact on the local economy.

A large focus of the past year has been the development and submission of the 10 year Strategic Economic Plan (SEP) which attracted £47m from Government for our Growth Deal. Importantly, the Annual Report, therefore, also looks forward to the year ahead and beyond.
