Worcestershire Technology Accelerator shortlisted for Innovation Awards

BetaDen, Worcestershire’s Technology Accelerator has been shortlisted as “Technology Innovation Champion of the Year” at the prestigious Innovation Awards 2023.

The Innovation Awards recognise, celebrate, and reward the businesses, organisations and individuals who are dedicated to innovation within the UK.

The Technology Innovation Champion of the Year is awarded to an organisation which support businesses with innovation through workshops and consultancy projects, and supports the business to research and develop innovative products and solutions.

BetaDen, which is based at Malvern Hills Science Park and a creation of the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), has supported six cohorts of technology entrepreneurs since its inception in 2018, currently recruiting for their seventh cohort of businesses. Over that time BetaDen has supported 42 early-stage businesses to develop a wide range of technologies, from cyber security and blockchain-driven innovations to autonomous vehicles and industrial internet of things software, and workplace wellbeing apps.

The shortlist is now open to the public vote and the top 4 in each category plus an additional judge’s choice will go forward as finalists.

The vote will close at 6pm on Friday 2  June 2023.

This shortlisting follows BetaDen being awarded Best Tech Accelerator in the country at the UK Business Tech Awards in 2022.
