BETADEN, opening Autumn 2018, will be Worcestershire’s first dedicated tech accelerator for entrepreneurs and scale up tech businesses. It provides the location and environment for both entrepreneurs in residence and technology businesses to develop alongside the Worcestershire 5G project team as they position new and existing companies to be at the forefront of futuretech.
BETADEN will develop a specialist cohort of eight to ten entrepreneurs to join the team launching this Autumn. The onsite offer will provide unique benefits to support each business and individual’s growth. Access to leading technologists, special business support and funding are just some advantages that BETADEN can offer entrepreneurs looking for a dynamic and new platform to support growth. The extra advantage is being located in a place that can also offer an environment for the next stage of growth. This flexible work space, with access to lab facilities and meeting rooms are all located within a network of technology and cyber businesses, known as “Cyber Valley” including the global technology giant QinetiQ.
Entrepreneurs and small tech businesses will thrive in this new supportive platform which is enhanced with a range of specialist business support through a regional and national stakeholder network and local partners. As BETADEN develops its reputation it will provide the ideal launch pad to base a technology business in a stunning location with plenty of good clean air to let those ideas flow.
