Workshop for protecting the environment and promoting resource efficiency

Organisations are being invited to attend the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) Priority 6 workshop for protecting the environment and promoting resource efficiency, on 4 May 2016.

Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) in conjunction with Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), Natural England & the Environment Agency are running the Priority 6 workshop at The Hive, The Butts, Worcester, WR1 3PD.

The event will bring together Local Enterprise Partnership and Local Nature Partnership representatives to; promote the potential opportunities under the newly launched Priority 6 Environment call in Worcestershire, to explore potential projects and consider issues that may prevent projects coming forward and to support and share good practice from elsewhere via DCLG and DEFRA family organisations.

The workshop will promote the ESIF funding call, expected in late April, which will invite outline applications that support the delivery of Priority Axis 6 of the European Regional Development Fund Operational Programme.

Please register your initial interest in attending through Diane Dwyers on either 01905 672700 or diane.dwyers@wlep.co.uk by 27 April 2016 at the latest.

A detailed agenda and confirmed timings will be sent nearer the time.
