The Sports Partnership Herefordshire & Worcestershire in partnership with British Wheelchair Basketball are giving businesses the chance to play the most popular Paralympic sport, wheelchair basketball, against other businesses in a new Workplace Challenge competition.
Ahead of the European Wheelchair Basketball Championships, which takes place at the University Of Worcester Arena, between the 28th August – 6th September 2015, the Workplace Challenge Wheelchair Basketball Tournament will offer the chance for companies to try their hand at the fast and furious sport with their colleagues, along with some expert coaching from some of the GB players.
On Wednesday 12th August, also at the University of Worcester Arena, teams of 8 will be offered a session in the basic skills and rules of the sport followed by a round robin of matches, playing for a selection of exclusive prizes including signed GB merchandise and tickets to the European Championships.
The tournament is set to kick start the #60DaysOfSport Workplace Challenge which is due to start on Wednesday 19th August inspiring all companies to sign up and encourage their employees to get active for 60 days and be part of the Workplace Challenge.
All equipment will be provided and no previous experience is needed as training will be provided on the night.

The tournament is great value at £24 for a team of up to 8 people – Filling out all your team’s spots will make it £3 per person!
