Hello and welcome to the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership newsletter, August 2025. Obviously. The site of any rain seems to be a long way away, and we’re, still baking in hot sunshine.
Lots of things going on. In the last few weeks, the ten year celebration of Careers Worcestershire and the working relationship between business and skills and the work that’s gone on over the last ten years, Worcestershire is in a fantastic place. And as we move forward, as work experience changes, we need more employers to get engaged and help us, shape our young people for the future.
And in business support news, working with the Growth Hub team, don’t hesitate to give them a call or have a look on the website for all the support that’s out there at the moment. The elevate program has been launched and we’re taking expressions of interest also the Business Energy Efficiency Advice service. So if you’re thinking about looking at your energy costs and how you can reduce them, opportunity to have an audit of how you can do that and an opportunity of up to 100,000 in grant funding.
Some positive news for the county. Worcester was named as one of the most investable towns by, a Knight Frank reports that looked at town centres, the health of towns centres, and, where you should, see growth and investment over the coming years. So it was good to see one of the county towns named in that report.
And we’ve got plenty going on in September. Lots of events. When the schools go back, obviously, that’s a time where we see lots of events and plenty of activity in the business community.
