Greater Birmingham & Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (GBSLEP) and Creative England have confirmed that the soon to be launched £2.1m Production Fund (for film and TV programmes) is open for Worcestershire production companies to apply for.
Local production companies are being welcomed to apply for the West Midlands Production fund which can provide successful applicants with investments of up to £500,000.
West Midlands Production Fund (WMPF) was set up with the support of European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to invest in the production of feature length films and high-end TV dramas from companies based in the West Midlands, as well as from producers looking to establish a base to film in the region.
Through the fund WMPF have been able to financially support a number of releases that filmed within the West Midlands region, these along with more information on the fund can be found on the Creative England website here.
